I know that many of you reading this will have been affected by cancer in some way. Whether you have lost someone close to you, supported a loved one through their diagnosis, or experienced it yourself, cancer is something that touches far too many.

I sadly lost my grandad to cancer earlier this year, and my dad has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Seeing the people you love face this disease is heartbreaking, and it has made me even more determined to do something to help.

This November I want to raise awareness of men’s health, encourage men to get checked and, most importantly, help fund the research that can save lives.

With Kreftforeningen (The Largest Norwegian Cancer Society), our goal is to come together as a community and raise 1 MILLION NOK (approximately £80,000 / €95,000).

Every donation will help fund vital cancer research, improve treatments and support people and families affected by cancer.

To be eligible for the prize draw, you must complete your donation or free registration no later than November 30 at 11:59 PM (Norwegian time). Entries submitted after this deadline will not be accepted.

You must provide accurate contact information so we can reach you if you win.

The draw will take place on December 1. Winners will be contacted directly using the contact details provided during donation or free registration.

The money goes to:

100% of donations will go directly towards cancer research.

-50% towards prostate cancer research.

-50% towards Kreftforeningen’s work in cancer research and support services for patients and their families.

All costs associated with organising and running this campaign will be covered personally by me and my partners.

I know that no amount of money can bring back those we’ve lost or take away the fear of a cancer diagnosis. But together, we can help fund research, improve treatments, raise awareness and give more families hope for the future.
