I Kreftforeningens Stafett for livet deltar lag bestående av familier, venner, skoler, foreninger, arbeidsplasser og andre i en 24 timer lang stafett. Påmelding til laget mitt finner du her.
Bak hvert lag er det en historie – og bak denne innsamlingen står min historie.

Jeg ble akutt syk våren 2021. Det som vi først trodde var en enkel blindtarmbetennelse viste seg å være kreft. Min tilstand kalles familiær adenomatøs polypose (kort: FAP) og er en sykdom som i alle tilfeller fører til at en eller flere polypper utvikler seg til en kreftsvulst når man når ca. 35 år.
Etter fantastisk oppfølging ved UNN og totalt 3 operasjoner, samt 11 runder cellegift fikk jeg vite sommeren 2022 at de ikke kan finne spor av kreften.

Jeg har blitt satt i medisinsk overgangsalder fordi begge mine eggstokker måtte fjernes, jeg har fått en tynntarmsstomi og livet har i lang tid vært annerledes.
La oss sammen sette fokus på tarmens fantastiske arbeid for å holde kroppen frisk og samtidig ta på alvor endringer i avføringen vår.

Jeg håper du ønsker å bidra til Kreftforeningens formålsarbeid innen forskning, politisk påvirkning, informasjon og helseopplysning, forebygging, internasjonalt arbeid og omsorg til kreftrammede og pårørende.

Ikke alle kan delta fysisk, så derfor håper jeg du kan dele denne med din familie, dine venner og kjente. Sammen håper jeg vi kan nå 5000 kroner.

In the Cancer Association's Relay for Life, teams consisting of families, friends, schools, associations, workplaces and others participate in a 24-hour relay. Be on my team!

Behind every team there is a story - and behind this one is my story.I became acutely ill in the spring of 2021. What we first thought was a simple appendicitis turned out to be cancer. My condition is called familial adenomatous polyposis (short: FAP) and is a disease that in all cases leads to one or more polyps developing into a cancerous tumor when you reach approx. 35 years.

After getting fantastic follow-up at UNN, a total of 3 operations, as well as 11 rounds of chemotherapy, I learned in the summer of 2022 that they cannot find any trace of the cancer.I have been put into medical menopause because both my ovaries had to be removed, I have had a small bowel stoma and life has been different for a long time.

Together, let's focus on the amazing work of the intestines to keep the body healthy and at the same time take seriously changes in our stools.I hope you would like to contribute to the Cancer Association's purpose-driven work in research, political influence, information and health information, prevention, international work and care for people affected by cancer and their relatives.

I know not everyone can participate physically in the relay so I hope you can share this with your family, friends and acquaintances. Together, I hope we can reach NOK 5,000.Thank you for your support!
